Wal-Mart sells the exact same mount that came with the unit, infact my phone mount is what is holding my Ultra-Gauge and the mount that came with the unit is still in the box.
I might do that same thing to tuck it back even more.

thanks for the heads up

I mounted mine on the coin tray. It fits perfect there, the wires are 100% hidden and the tray still operates perfectly. I try to avoid things on the windshield/dash, so this worked out. Only real pain is if you use the MPG thing and have to reset it often. I broke the top part on the bracket (not a sturdy piece whatsoever) by pressing on only 1/2 of it. Still works perfect no, and I like this spot.
(cleaned up the install a bit more after this pic)

How do you have engine off, 114 F intake air temp, and coolant temp of 32 F? Slow roasting over hickory coals to thaw out the block?

Hahaha. No idea SB. I think the intake temp and the others are in memory until you actually start it, but the coolant temp does not. This is the shot after the start. I don't remember when it was, but it could have been after the truck sat for a long time while I was on vacation and awaiting the parts to fix the last issue (the radiator, etc).

mounted mine to the left of the cluster then droped the wire between the cluster and the door pillar. Opened the lower fuse box and traced it through there and then into the OBD port so that it keeps it all out of the way.

Mine does not do that, it shows the live data as soon as you turn on the key and power it up.
