5x120 is every BMW with 5lug ever.

I read, possibly incorrectly, ET of 30-50 for Rover......so technically you could use BMW 3 series wheels......

Centerbore on 5 lug BMWs is 72.5mm, except for the e39 5 series...it's 74.1mm...and some of the SUVs...70mm on some X5/6s. Rover is 70.1mm IIRC.

...just another direction to look into if you can't find anything listed under "Discovery II"

Thanks! What do you mean by ET? For the Center bore, do I want something that is greater than 70.1 mm?

ET is offset.

You'll want a centerbore of 70.1 or greater. They make hubcentric adapter for most every common bore --> bore combos. Obviously if you get smaller than 70.1 you'll have to have them machined out.

Does anyone know what the wheel offset for the Discovery 2 is? I've been told a range from 32 to 35mm. Is this correct?

My research has lead me to the following numbers for D2 offset:

North American Stock 16" wheels - 57mm offset
North American Stock 18" wheels - 57mm offset
Land Rover Genuine Steel 16" wheels - 57mm offset
Cheap 16" Steel Wheels from Rovers North - 25 mm offset
Terrafirma Dakar 16" wheel - 45mm offset
Terrafirma Beadlock 16 wheel - 25 mm offset.

also every Camaro, Firebird S-10, or Corvette ever.
5x4.75 is insanely common in the GM world, and the modern stuff (within the last 20 years) has an offset that is similar to ours.

My S-10 steelies were actually hub Centric to the Rover.

Point of that being, one should have a near endless supply of aftermarket support in the 20" range.....

Also, if you want to keep your speedo as accurate as possible, while running 20's, 265-45-20 is the size tire you will need. For 19's it's 255-50-19. I'm running 19" L322a wheels during the summer and 16's Mirages during the winter. 21's give up too much sidewall, and if you keep the profile the same as wheel size increases, speedo gets thrown off.

I was actually looking at my spare set of Hurricane 18" wheels to replace the Jeep wheels on my off-road trailer. Trying to calculate the wheel adapter needed to change from the 5 x 4.5" to the 5 x 120 bolt circle.

The Hurricanes are 18 x 8J x 57ET

8J = 8" width
57ET = 57mm offset

P/S.

This is a good place if you are looking for hub spacers or adapters:
