Default upper ball joint removal tip

Long project to replace ball joints with too many challenges. Here's a tip for removing the upper ball joint on the right side. Cut a 2x4 to 28" and wedge between the frame and your ball joint tool. This keeps the tool centered and vertical so it is easier to use. You can just get a piece of pipe on your wrench to turn a few clicks under the top of the wheel arch. Pics attached...

Thanks. Got the beast back together, but now I'm a member of the TC light / speed sensor club. I think the right front sensor didn't seat right. It didn't seem to go all the way in properly. Maybe the o-ring swelled while it was sitting on blocks for a month. Yea I know - I should have been more patient putting it back together but I was just thrilled to get the f'n ***** in and hubs back on.
I'll pull the right wheel/brakes off to take a second look this morning...

Got a new code reader (icarsoft) and it's showing a bad RF speed sensor.
Ordered one and it arrived today. Went to install and found it was the wrong bloody part (too short). Waiting on reply from the company that sent it but now it's another week with a dead LRD2.
At least my new coils and intake gasket arrived so I've got that project to tackle.
