Upper Engine Rebuild
#51
Took me a few times bleeding before It finally stabilized. After bleeding while cool, I drove it then came back and let it cool, elevated the Ex tank and let it sit for an hour then started it let it run while cap off and elevated to see if there was remaining air . While bleeding.Just till it warmed up. Make sure it doesn't overheat! but u know that Be sure to be careful with small nipple on the radiator.
My 180 thermostat now runs about 185 - 195 on the road might even hit 200 if I am sitting in traffic but it doesn't stay there long.so 180 is maybe a goal that rarely happens. I am happy with my HG job it was a long arduous task for the first time . but doable.
Enjoy
