Default Upper Intake

I know that the torque setting for the upper intake manifold is 16 lbs. ft. or 22 Nm but what is the sequence.

I think you just work your way from the center out

See p.12-2-47 of RAVE, p.202 in my PDF.

I believe p.12-2-47 of the rave addresses the lower intake not the upper intake

Make sure to use loctite on those bolts cause they do vibrate loose.

Yes, I have heard that they have a tendency to vibrate loose. That is why I was planning on re-torquing them, but now that you mentioned the loctite I might put some on the bolts.

Sorry, my bad. I was thinking lower intake.

RAVE just says "Using a new gasket, position upper inlet manifold. Fit bolts and, working in a diagonal sequence, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lbf.ft)."

you can pull the hoses off the heater core on the engine side and pull off the wires that way.

I heard some people on the forum reuse them (as long as you take it off carefully) but personally, I always buy a new one. I don't feel like getting a headache over a small air leak and crazy codes that might come on later down the road.
