Attachment 28996
with this tapped into the flat side:
Attachment 28997
Any idea the diameter of the T fitting?

Yes, thats 1-1/4. Make sure to drive a ball peen hammer on all ends so the hose wont slide out quickly. While youre at homedepot as well. One stop shop.lol

Saw your mod. It made sense to me with the heater core shut off you made. You dont need it during summer anyway. Save you also the coolant from other leaks in the engine compartment.
I'm just scared to do that since one of the signs my coolant is low is the water fall sound around there. I like to hear that once in a while. Only if the land rover does not leak at all. They leak everywhere, that is why my coolant always look new because I just kept adding coolant, same with oil. We need to design something that you can change the oil filter without draining the oil since I add oil everytime because of leaks. My oil still looks new when oil change is needed except the filter. LOL!

Can you find something that size? Those are more expensive but cool and wont slide out. I saw that one but nothing close to 1-1/4. Probably online or Grainger?

I know it is kind of expensive but should be a permanent fix. Found one at Ferguson's Plumbing also. I have looked at a lot of different tees, and like the looks of this one. I already have the bleed valve, drill and taps, just need to get the tee.

Default Bleed Valve

Heres a good looking bleed valve with specs.

Item # 1584, 1584 Hand Operated Separator Drain or Bleed Valve On Aqua Environment Co., Inc.

$22.00

These combination might work, these could be a better replacement to the entire plastic Tee.
