I repaired that $$$ flex hose on the SAI D2 I had for just 10.00 total. 6.00 for some 3/4 heater hose, and 4.00 worth of good S/S hose clamps.

Take the special end by the pump and being careful (mine fell apart in my hand) tear it down until you have nothing but the actual connector and maybe 2-3 inches of the straight hard inner pipe with it. Then get your 3/4 heater hose, lube it up with some armorall, and slide it on. Then secure it with one of the new S/S hose clamps. Take it and measure it and cut it. Then if your aluminum shield is in good shape it can slide over the new hose to protect it (mine was trashed, but I got another one from a junk yard). Then secure that end to the hard metal line using the other S/S hose clamp. Boom 150.00 hose fixed for 10.00 with plenty left over for a spare!

Some people were like OMG that won't work , but sadly YES IT DOES! As long as your valves aren'y sticking causing exhaust gases up into the hose/pump. It will operate just like normal.
