Maaaaannnn. I pulled the shaft and the vibes went away. I have to call them and send it back...This thing is brand new too, oh well.

50-57, that's about when my driveshaft vibrates most. Pull it and check it out.

Good deal. Thanks for the info. After I replace my PS pump tomorrow maybe the shaft will have to come out.

My vibration was pretty similar, but I swapped shafts and it changed. The 40ish mph went away almost completely, but I still have a pretty significant issue at 75. One thing I've noticed is mine sounds like a vibration, but I don't feel a vibration I just hear the noise. I'm gonna pull the shaft and see if it goes away.

Dane! - one thing to consider is when your shaft failed it may have bent the pinion flange of the front axle, the output flange on the transfer case, or worst case scenario the output shaft of the transfer case. To check them you might be able to pull the shaft and lay where you can see if they are warped when they rotate, but, if not, you need to pull the flanges and inspect them.

Mordo, I changed the diff already, as the diff bearing failed when the driveshaft failed, I changed the T-case bearing too, as the driveshaft killed that also. I pulled the shaft and the vibes are gone completely. Its a pain, but I at least know whats causing it.

Dane, seems like your just a couple of motor mounts ahead of me. I've been chasing a vibration like yours and replaced 3 front shafts, front output shaft flange and bearing, front diff. only to get the same results. I've been told maybe the output shaft in the transmission? Have you solved the vibration yet?

Yes sir, I have. It was my driveshaft. When do you get your vibrations? Is there a sound that comes along with them?

My vibration starts around 35 and up. Not bad above 60. I'm driving without the front shaft and cdl locked now. it has a slight vibration without the shaft, most people wouldn't even notice. I feel like my rover has been neutered without that front shaft.

Did you replace the shaft yet? When I installed a different shaft, the vibration came back.

My thought is that a bent flange on the differential or transfer case will create the same symptoms as a imbalanced shaft.
