I had the same sound. After listening to other slipped sleeve vids, I determined that is what I had. I have an aftermarket temp gauge and ultra gauge. Mine started making a noise around 180 degrees. Tried a 180 thermostat, but it was to close. So I did the inline thermostat mod and put a 160 degree thermostat in. So the engine doesn't get warm enough for the sleeve to move. That caused other issues that I have overcome regarding the ECU. But it has worked for almost a year now and no tick.

I second this idea, it definitely sounds similar to flex plate issues to me.
