I don't think you have to be a die hard owner to download it and try to answer your own questions. It might help keep you from getting ripped off by a shop.

The guy at AB is right, bend your door frame in and it will take care of the problem. It's not an uncommon tweak to get doors to seal properly. Someone may have at some time tried to unlock your doors by pulling the top of the door frames back and dropping a wire in or something like that, not uncommon for a person who has no idea how to open a locked door.

 

Thanks dcarr, I just downloaded it. I guess I'll see if we can find some answers.

 

Im not bending nothing. There has to be a reason why the frame it not making the seal. Something is loose or worn out. Plain and simple. BTW, the rave manual didn't have what I was looking for. It gives alot of photos & information but not detail photos.

 

Look at rave page 76-1-5.
That whole door frame can be removed, check if there is some adjustment at the bottom that might allow you to tilt the door frame inwards.

 

I had a similar problem - wind noise and water getting in. I thought it was the door frame as well and was going to add some stick on weather stripping when I noticed that the window channel had slipped down about 3 inches. It wasn't something that was particularly noticeable, the channel was not worn, it had just slipped down and wasn't sealing the window at the top corner. I used a scribe to grab hold of it and slide it back up into position. Since then I haven't had any problems with it, wind noise gone and no water leaking.

What I'm talking about is the u-channel felt in the door casing that the window slides up and down in.

 

Just take your truck to a body shop, let them test drive it and they will fix it.
There are a few screws that you need to loosen, then lift up on the window frame and have a helper tighten the screws back up.
The door and window frame are 2 separate pieces.
