Default warm up time

Here is a quick question - how long does it take for your truck to warm up? In this weather (summertime) it takes me about 2-3 minutes of driving for the temp gage to get to the middle. Seems awfully fast...

Totally normal. Im here in Texas and it goes up fast. As long as it stays right in the middle...give or take, you are fine.

Normal. Aluminum heats faster than cast iron and we have cast aluminum engine's. It also displaces heat better than cast iron and that is why your hood gets so hot.
