Default RE: A Warning for Disco 2 Owners

Mine 2000 Disco II has around 123000 at this time. I've had it since 105000 or so. It makes all kinds of noises and hums along. Ayear ago a Landy mechanic said itwas all good, then again, he could've just been lazy or incompetent... Is there a list of things that need to be done an a Disco? I'm pretty dumb when it comes to technical terms,so it would have to be a "list for dummies."
P.S. The only things that I've done to it in thepast1.5 years was service the tranny once, change oilevery 3000 miles (Mobile 1 10W30), and a I changed the battery and a couple of belts.Oh, andfront breaks (rotores/pads, plus rear pads).

Hey guys, can someone please help out with diagram of the axle for everyone? Also it can be done just by removing the tire right? Any special tools required?
