Default Warranty question - UK

Hi guys

Had my steering pump replaced in July this year and it's now also failed. Do we have any sort of statutory warranty in the UK for replacement parts? Just like to know how far I can push if the garage starts messing me about.

TIA

Depends on where you purchased the pump, if it was new and also depends on why the pump failed. I replaced my power steering pump afew years ago and have had no issues but I also replaced a power steering hose, reservoir and added new fluid. Best thing to do is call up or visit the shop where you bought the pump and see what thwy can offer you. Hope you have the receipt.
