I'm about 180 miles from a Land Rover dealership, can you post a link to where I can find those covers?

Sometimes when I start it, while it's cranking it'll just cut out for about 2 seconds then continue cranking, and then it starts. When I start it first thing in the morning it cranks for about 8-10 seconds before firing.

You can make your own covers for those holes, the bottoms on soup cans cut to size will work just fine.

 

Okay Is there A good way I can clean it out before I put the covers on?
