Default wet floorboard but not...

Dear Roveristas,
My passenger floorboard is soaking wet, checked the a/c drain underneath and its not clogged.
I lifted the carpet and cut out the passenger floor board and did some spot rust conversion with primer.
The following day it rained and lo and behold, the passenger floor had a small pool of water. It seems to be trickling from the side of the body.
Cant seem to figure out where it was coming from unless I remove the dash. I was thinking that the windshield seal is the culprit.
Help, what should I do?
Thanks.

2 possible reasons, the most common reason would be a plugged or dislodged drain tube from the front sun roof. The second possibility would be a seal that has failed on your windshield.

So I guess its a failed windshield seal because I dont have a sunroof.
Can I just fix with a sealant?
Thanks.

Get you a big bat, smash your windshield. Call a local windshield replacement company and have them put in a new windshield for free as insurance covers it. They will replace all seals. The bigger the bat the better.

Thanks I might just do that if all things fail.
