what year is yours? Looks like a black access panel. I don't have that on mine.... Could be the source of leak. Water can leak down from the large channel at bottom of windshield between firewall weld and lower windshield panel. There is a seam that runs along just in front of where the windshield heater plug locating tab is. Mine leaked there but it ran down into the engine bay. Maybe yours is running behind that panel....??
well shoot, I have access panel too! Never noticed it..... In your pic you can see the water running down the access panel face....
anyway, I spotted a seam leak here a few weeks back and filled the seam with RTV. The water was running down over the access panel. Panel could have been leaking at top ....
yep, looks like you found it. a leak here could drip around the blower fan housing. Also, you can have a leak around the fresh air intake scoop which is located just above the 'seam' in question, and that could fill the blower fan housing......
Well I think that got it! I ran the hose on top of the truck for quite a while and didn't notice any drips in the interior. I plan on washing the truck soon and we have some rain in the forecast. That will be the real test.
By the way, I really hate the way the uploader keeps rotating my photos.
