Default What is it?

Probably been asked before but I couldn't come up with search terms to give me an answer. It's a bracket on the driver's side frame. Looks factory? Like something should bolt to it? What if anything have any of you repurposed it for?

I think it’s for the air tank with SLS (but I don’t have SLS so I could be wrong).

That makes sense as I don't have SLS either. My LX470 that had the AHC suspension had a hydraulic tank located in roughly the same area as well to control the height. Hmm, wonder what I can use it for? Onboard air compressor? Rock light mount? Fit an ammo can with "stuff" in it?

Sadly D2's w/ rear SLS don't have an actual air "tank" like the LR3/LR4/RRS do... but that is the bracket location where the plastic box mounts for the air suspension compressor.

That's where you stack the explosives...when you've finally had enough.

Or an additional tool box when the back is full of parts and tools.

Make sure you secure the explosives horizontally. That way the floor of that shelf will create a shaped charge effect and you will really be parting out you Rover

I installed an air compressor with a small tank in that location.
