i was rebuilding my enigne but my block is messed up so i was thinking of selling my 4.6 crank, rods and 8 new 4.6 pistons ... everything has been balanced and theres 100 miles on the assembly so far.. i would also include a 2004 4.6 PCM so your bosch motor would benefit from the 4.6 guts..

to my knowledge any 4.0 bosch block will accept the 4.6 parts...


anyone think this is worth selling? pistons were 800$ and labor for crank and rods was over 200$ alone...... rods a .10 over and crank is .20 over....

how would 600$ sound?

 

why not just keep the parts and find a good block that needs to be rebuilt?

 

cuz i'm done pulling this engine anymore and i dont need a long block in mygarage... my wife would kill me

 

I hear ya. You can probably expect to get 1/2 what you paid for the parts, that's my best guess.

 

If I were you, I would save my life and my marriage and put the stuff on EBAY and get rid of it to the highest bidder. Take the money and buy something nice with it for her on Valentine's day!!!
