Didn't get my bumper installed, "almost" finished with it, but today turned out to be more productive than planned, and interrupted a lot of time that was needed to finish my bumper. No complaints though.

Installed my projector HID headlamps.

Almost finished the rear bumper.

....and finally got my friend a Disco, now he's an official Rover guy too, instead of just the guy that always rides in my Rover.

Well, this is from a few days ago. Took 5 grandkids camping at Martin Dies State Park in East Texas. Went up Friday and had great weather until Saturday when the wind off of the lake was pushing 40mph. Used the Disco as a wind block for our table area and then rigged a rain fly using the vehicle to anchor one side. Note the creative use of my camera tripod to lift the peak of the rain fly up!

We still got pretty wet but what do you expect with kids and camping? But we all had fun. I had the Rover loaded... roof rack, back cargo area and ice chests strapped to the hitch rack on the back! Got really crappy gas mileage with all the stuff up on top.

Looks like jumper cables, part of the Rover initiation?

Lmao, indeed.

First day of ownership and already needs a battery, but then again we knew that when he bought it.

Yesterday my disco got hit in Houston by a freaking luxury party bus "E-450". All my drivers side panels will be getting replaced along with my windshield that his mirror places a nice baseball sized air vent. Hit me pretty hard crossing into my lane but all is good. Best part.... The bus got towed with broken stabilizer bar and tie rods, destroyed tire and Houston PD let me drive my disco to work. That's a LR commercial right there. Probably ending up filing suit over this. My back is not feeling tip top at all. And my new t/case shifter boot is in the mail

Drove to work in it with my new (rebuilt) rear drive shaft. No more vibes upon acceleration from the rear, just a lot from the front out put bearing. I know what I'll be doing on my next day off... On a good note though, getting my paycheck and spending it on some new tires
