Changed out the roof rails on my 02 to the round 04 style, bolted right up, although it is a bit of a pain to do with rear A/C

You're a better man than me. Doing 60 on a highway sounds horrible in a truck with no headliner, and if it rains, instant headache. Mine was out for about 6 months if i remember correctly. Wont be doing that again.

And it's like an oven inside when the temps raise over 70.

To my surprise, I don't notice any difference whatsoever going 70 on a freeway in pouring rain. Yet to find out about the heat though.

Eventually ill I'll do something.. like insulation, dynamat, and maybe aluminum or plastic... but I'm actually very happy so far without it. And it looks somewhat complete with the upper shelf, window guards, and cargo nets.

Pulled out a cedar hedge. Didn't even touch the accelerator just in drive in low was inexorable force. Didn't even feel them come out.
Did the previous ones with the old 2wd Comanche and had to work it and even spun the tires a bit on dry pavement. Night and day.

Default Finishing up the 03, get the fork ready...

Hook up SAI delete plugs, but got smart this time and left the upper vacuum pods...so it still "thinks" it working and doesn't set a code. Fabed up a copper cooling tube, that runs across top of rad, and connected the rest of the jungle of hoses, filled, ran, filled, ran...and ran out of anti-freeze. Did have a miss and code when I fired her up last night, but I'd pulled the plug wire on #8 to install SAI plug...and forgot to reattach. Once that was remedied, she sounded good and accelerated nicely.

Tonight, more anti-freeze and throw the hood on...maybe a few prayers...then a few dozen trips up and down our road...and this thing will be out of my hair for a bit.

Brian.

Good stuff. Home stretch!

It's crazy when you think about it, how many components clutter the engine bay for SAI, all for 30 seconds on a cold start to reduce emissions a tiny bit. If only I wasn't moving to california... I'd axe that **** in a heartbeat
