Trail Damage! Eeeek!
Went to Hidden Falls Adventure Park today with the Austin Land Rover crew. Had a blast and took this little truck on 31 inch tires places it never should have gone. Traction Control with a center diff lock and 20lbs of air in the tires and this thing is a GOAT!

Finally got the led bars wired and setup properly. All I now need is to clean up the wires a little and make a switch panel inside.
Got the wires tucked nicely behind the plastic side trim of the windscreen.
Next, the front and back workilights. Also need to get some powerblock for positive cables in the enginebay before I have a foot long bolt on the positive battery terminal with all the extras.
Farbryka4x4 makes cool stuff. Do you know a vendor who ships to US?
Did my diff fluid today. Also half *** did the transfer case didn't have the right tool to drain it. no telling how long since it's been done. Should I be concerned with the amount of metal on the magnet? That's the front diff plug

Unfortunately no, as I'm in Finland.
I like the bumper, but the rack has a few flaws in design and work quality.
The bumper is very well made and welded etc. but the rack is bent down from the middle, across fro mside to side.
So no stepping on the rack on the rear sunroof unless You want contact between metal pipe and glass.
Also the bit where the light bars are, not too good of a support, just single extended bent pipe with minimal support to the rack itself, so the vibrations are quite heavy on the lights. See the pic to maybe understand what I mean. https://imgur.com/TJj6zKe
Also a few minor alignment issues before welding it all together.

Nah, that's pretty normal. Gears break in a bit. 260k on my highest mileage truck, no issues. You have a long way to go.
Just checking in to wish this thread a Happy 10 Year Anniversary. I bet the original poster never though his thread would go this long. Even though he hasn't checked in since 2013, lets all raise a toast tonight to Rover De Land!

Picked up my Disco yesterday from a LR specialist. Had the front upper and lower ***** joints done along with axle seals, new hubs, calipers, rotors, and pads. Brake bleed as well. Drives and brakes like a dream. Steering is now tight and responsive. 6 hours labor for everything. Very pleased.
