That's a great deal, I paid around $900 for my t2 and then 6 months later they came out with the t3 I was so mad lol none the less they are amazing cameras and you prob won't find another deal like 375 again
Plus they shoot full 1080p and with right the lenses you can get that 35mm film look. Like you home movies were shot in Hollywood.

 

Yeah I just asked him if he was ever gonna use his older camera after he dropped something like 3 grand on a new one, and he said no and I just threw out 300 bucks and he said 450, and I asked if he would split the difference, and he agreed. I don't think he cared about making money back off it, just wanted to get it off his hands and have a few extra dollars in his wallet.

 

I installed the elevator.

 

Put on a set d1 wiper arms and new wipers, gotta say money well spent, $75 for new wiper blades all around from the dealer, $50 from a.b. or $30 for new arms and never having to deal with those other blades again. Hmmmm

Started replacing all my bulbs with led and xenon bulbs 7500k for the fogs and 5000k for the driving. I didn't want to use the hid kit on the rover, they are sweet but the bulbs work fine for now.

Replaced both upstream O2 sensors with Bosch #15175, $54 each from Amazon and free shipping. New Bosch battery from Pep Boys ($111 with 3 year free replacement) installed in the parking lot and got my $12 core charge back. Poured in large bottle of Techron.

No codes after O2 swap and radio remembered all my presets after changing battery. Overall a good day.

After a week of showing signs of a bad crankshaft sensor, I decided today to replace it. I called around and found the part on the shelf at O'Reilly's which also turned out to be the cheapest at $59.00. The part is boxed by Import Direct part #19-0296. I say boxed because when I examined the part it is actually the Bosch part. The replacement was very easy and took about an hour to complete. I drove the DII all day and have not experienced any stalling or idle flux.

 

I just ordered a ladder yesterday. Any installation tips or pretty straight forward install?

 

Washed it, waxed it, did a parts needed inventory. Ordered a new power steering pump, ladder, and a grill badge (Florida sunshine ate it!) Need to start considering lift options as well as driveshaft replacement options. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I do not do any kind of rock crawling, but do take it off the beaten path. We use it for camping & getting as far off road as possible. Have been limited due to ground clearance of course.

 

No matter what you do, it's pretty simple. The ladder comes with rivnuts (basically threaded rivets) that can be installed, and some nice hardware to fit. Makes the installation very clean, and if you need to remove the ladder for some reason, it can be unbolted and off in a pinch. Problem is you need a special tool to do it. You could make one and it would work great. But I didn't have tho tool, didn't want to get one, and I didn't foresee me needing to remove the ladder. So I found 4 stainless #12 sheet metal screws, drilled some small pilot holes, added a little silicone, and screwed the ladder on. The screws don't bear any weight, so the hardware you use is entirely up to you.

Make sure to install these little pads too.
