What did you do with your DII today?
But, seriously.
From what I've read and noticed, most old school 4X4 clubs are mainly CB radio, most overlanders are using HAM, most newer, hip, cool off road club members (like me) are starting to use GMRS and you have the two-way radio/walkie-talkie folks.
I'm planning on adding another hand held GMRS radio and CB to my rover.
Brian.
Everybody...boy...this will take some time to get the data...lol.

But you have a good point it is about what is common where you are.
Discovered I can text the wife from my VHF, when there is no cell signal. As long as I can hit a gateway so that is kinda of cool.
Lubed steering shaft u-joints. Notice over the last few days that the steering was getting stiff upon turning. Kind of forgot about all of the river crossing it made in Ohio a few weeks ago. All better on the way home.
Brian.
Brian.

I'm getting there...slowly.
I got all the exhaust back on with new O2's and new stock cat-back last weekend. Wire brushed and painted alot of the frame before putting exhaust in, still have some more to do.
Gonna try and get the starter, coils, wires, SAI, and a few other things over this weekend.
Still need to order Fel-pro upper intake gasket, radiator, and belt tensioner.
Clean brakes(truck has sat almost a year now), and the list goes on.
Oh you'll know when it runs...or at least when I try and start it...soon...I hope
Nice, think I need to do this too, been noticing a skip kinda thing going on while turning left. Seems like it’s in the column somewhere thinking the u joint near the steering wheel... don’t know why my steering components are giving out all at once!
Brian.
2 words for ya Alex- ratcheting bolt extractor. Busted a head bolt doing a hg job, waited 4 days for delivery, bolt out in 5 mins. True story.

My new Britpart Elbow Pipe failed and has been leaking so I believe that the Coolant is blowing back, I can see it, and giving my spark plugs fits.
