Went junk'in today and got a few things. Been having problems lately with my brand new expansion tank cap (wouldnt screw on right or stay tight) so found a "new" cap, purge valve and the hood insulator -- all for $25. Engine bay looks a lot cleaner now and my P0441 code went away for now..

Ha ha you've got the same set up as I did for my daughter's D2 with just 1 windshield wiper washer nozzle connected up front!

LR3 wiper nozzles will work and are much cheaper for some crazy reason. Same darn thing!

Did a couple maintenance issues today.

Bled brakes until fresh fluid was found at ever bleeder (lubing bleeders for the last week paid off nicely), and much better pedal.

Changed power steering fluid, out with the stinky...in with the fresh stuff.

Lubed steering shaft (again), rear door hinges and slide mechanism.

Lift kit arrived today, slid box in the garage...so the dogs would stop peeing on it.

Brian.

Like I have time for this

Disco ownership is truly a mental disorder of some sort.
I fed my insanity by driving home a truck I picked up for $500. The engine is good, the body/transmission is bad. Now to do an engine swap with the nice nice Rover.

Installed lift this morning, started a 7am...done by 9:30am. Removed 2 inch spacers and with new springs it netted an additional inch + (19" before, 20 1/2...which may settle some?). Basically, the old original springs were sagging about an inch. Didn't have a chance to drive it, wife said l better be done and ready to leave for the bluegrass festival...by 10:30...or...well, you married guys know the rest.

Peanut gallery.

Rover sits more level now.

Brian.

P.S...this new photo uploader is a major pain in the butt.
