I made a 8' cable with a Normally Open pushbutton switch to power the ABS module at the (removed) relay R10 female sockets #3 & #5 when I power bleed each of the brakes this weekend.

Went last night and looked at an '01 model for my girlfriend. I looked over it thoroughly. It needs a crank sensor, head gaskets, and a thermostat which I have an extra of. The owner is a friend. They're asking $800 and offered it to me for $700. We'll see where it goes!

I wish I had got mine for close to that. 01 even has the CDL on the transfer case. Even if you decided not to mod it and had somewhere to store it you could easily make your money back in parting out but you probably knew that already.

How rusty is the frame?

Just because you can and very cheap. "Upgraded" the interior dome lights to LED.

Old in background and new up close.

Looks good. At first they almost seem too bright, but I use LEDs as well.

If the LEDs start to flash/flicker just leave them alone and get one of these it's a DISCO after all.
You will be the life of the party!!

Yeah, I've parted one before. An 04 actually, who's TC and shifter among other things are in my 03 now. I wish I had the money to get it. If she didn't I would man it up in a heartbeat.

It's Virginia and we use salt, so there's some rust, but it's honestly still solid. Coat the frame down with motor oil once a year and call it good. Actually need to do that to my 03 before they start salting again. Supposed to snow tomorrow. Also supposed to be reinstalling my front diff tomorrow in the driveway instead of the garage. Whoopee for me /s

Buy single sides leds, as in, the light source is only on one side of the bulbs frame.
You can rotate them 360 degrees in the housing.
Now, yoi can have the light pointing down, and very bright. Rotated straight up, much dimmer. Or towards the front or rear. It really makes a big difference in how bright, and where most of the interior light is concentrated.

Did a real quick and dirty rebuild on the front differential last night and reinstalled it this morning. I'm talking REAL quick and dirty. New carrier bearings, left the ring gear, replaced the pinion with one I had out if another diff on the shelf (so they're mismatched). Left the outer pinion bearing, left the inner bearing race but used the bearing already on the pinion (so they're also mismatched), didn't check the pinion depth, and set the backlash by hand feel.

Probably won't last too long, but it did decrease my clicking sound. I think I bent some of the teeth on the ring gear. I inspected them and couldn't see any cracks or chips, but it's still clicking slightly.

On the bright side, there's no longer any clunk when shifting between reverse and drive. It was getting pretty sloppy. Luckily no grinding or whining coming from it!
