Who knows? 3 times the charm? I think with a third engine, all will be good.

I really want the new Jaguar Land Rover V6. Makes no sense probably, aside from I think that it would be cool.

I just want a dependable V8 in it.
These engines seem like they are luck of the draw with what you get.
The idiots at the machine shop would put in the freeze plugs without sealant(3 of them leak, and the engine never started), managed to put a big knick about the 6 o'clock position on the freeze plug edge, on the one on the left side of the back of the block(among their other screw ups).
I haven't decided if if it can be tig welded and smoothed, or if it's totally fecked. Regardless, it doesn't inspire confidence in this engine.

Damn. No wonder an LS sounds good.

Damn^^^^go big or stay home, for sure. Note to self, wheel with Richard.

My only recommendation would be...add additional supports to your bumper.

Brian.

So you're replacing the V8 with that since it's more reliable, right?

Mailday! @oslo_d2 received Britpart taillamp gaurds, Trasharoo bag 60" Hi-Lift and tool kit. I made a quick prototype mount to see what I thought of putting it up front on the brushgaurd. I had it on the bottom tube first, but it was too low and interfered with approach angle. Where it is in the picture is good, but not sure if I like it. It is functional, but not great.
Any other recommendations on Hi-Lift mount locations?

Roof rack or spare tire. Anywhere but there. That seems like an accident waiting to happen.
