2 weeks ago I traded/mailed my friend in Arizona a 12 pack of orange Lucozade (it's a British energy drink) for his extra set of black D2 cup holders that he wasn't using. I received them yesterday.
His teen daughter likes the drink and pays $7 a bottle in the states compared to the $2 equivalent here in England.

Removed brush guard, wheeled/polished headlight assemblies, installed new blubs throughout (head light, turn, running). Looking forward to darkness, now.

Brian.

Option B for the wife's rover. The 3 amigos had been visiting her for months but then I took her truck for a drive and decided I'd better do something about it.

noticed a pool of fluid by one rear wheel. hmmm. i changed the differential fluid just the other day. yep, gear oil.
pulled the hub; i had a spare. but wait -- isn't there supposed to be an o-ring in there somewhere?

so yeah, the previous owner (or actually the previous owner's mechanic) installed a new hub without its o-ring. and by the looks of things, it wasn't done recently.

you really don't know anything about what po's did or didn't do to a vehicle, that's for sure.

Took her out for run to check my awning, make sure everything stayed nice and tight. Discovered the springs I need to change have reached end of life so that is now a priority job.
