Rode my Disco for the first time since I did the upper engine rebuild.

cracked/separated my passenger side down pipe and ordered up a new system from exhaust ports to rear bumper.

Replaced my SAI yesterday. No more jet engine sound at start-up! $130 bucks well spent if you ask me.

What does it sound like now? Still a blower, but quieter, or you don't hear it at all over the motor?

There was nothing wrong with the original, the one shown in the picture is no where near the same as the factory blower motor. It was removed from a different vehicle and retrofitted into my Disco to produce more airflow.

There is still a blower sound, but it is about 10 times quieter. You can barely hear it over the engine. Before, it sounded like a leaf blower. Now it sounds like a hair dryer.

Got the AC system evacuated and recharged after my cam swap. (I couldn't finagle the cam out with the condenser attached)
