Default Ummmmmm

So I have had this gurl for a year with 93,000 and have only put 300 miles on it as I got the courage to rebuild the inside and not engine. Oil changed when I bought the truck..... all was good. So I have had the engine on and checked everything. I have new hoses, therm, return and coolant bottle waiting for me to put on after I get new 2 inch aluminum radiator. But they put new stuff before being bought. I have recite of the work.....

so maybe engine clean?

Default Leaking sunroof, missing hose

I took my headliner out yesterday to fix a leak in my sunroof and to replace the sagging material. I think I found the culprit, the passenger side front hose it is completely missing? I am definitely the first one to take this off in my rover. I don't think it was ever there at all and missed from the factory when it was built, the is definitely no hose running down inside of the pillar. No wonder it leaked, luckily this rig was in the California desert most of its life. But now that it is in Seattle I am glad I checked before the rainy winter. I have a carport I park it in on the side of my house so it has stayed dry most of the time over the past few years.

Still, I love this thing, I have had a lot of cars and trucks in my life and this is still my favorite.

Not sure why you would say that... runs well... needs cosmetic work... has had soccer Mom ownership most of its life, from what I can tell. The perfect base for a good build.

Be interested in what you ‘think’ you know about it...

Headed to my local junkyard to pickup a BCU to correct the key fob lock issue found here. Is anyone interested in a junkyard BCU part number to match that supplied in the Tech Bulletin to correct the issue? A local yard has a couple BCUs from 2003 and 2004 discos for great prices. Trying to determine if it's worth picking up the ones they have to distribute here.

Had the 2nd person 1 in 2 days want to buy my Disco, the 15000.00 CDN asking price put them off. I do not want to sell it but if someone wants to pay stupid money I could let her go.

I would want that much for mine too. The amount of time it takes to sort these out I don’t want to start over that badly

Got the 03 HSE7 “Chloe” back from the shop last Friday. Got her cleaned back up and out for a good shakedown drive to one of our favorite places to hike.

Changed the oil today 270,000 miles on the clock. Also got around to doing the in-line pcv mod. It was clogged. Took it for a little drive and feels good. Getting her ready for a 1675 mile trip to western Colorado next week.

Waiting for my 150A alternator and my Terrafirma TF559 silencer delete exhaust pipe to arrive. Hopefully with that silencer delete I can help me get an extra 1/4MPG increase in my 12MPG average. lol
