Mine was even cheaper...but auxbeam makes some ok stuff. I'd look for the cheapest one that the controller portion can be dimmed as that's really the only complaint with the one I have. I'll put a hat or glove or something over it on long dark highway rides.
Having all 5 18" hurricane alloy wheels powdercoated. (Pics to come in a couple weeks.) Shop was very knowledgeable about wheels and different metals. Turns out, 4 of my wheels are made in Italy and 1 in England. Shop guy thinks the Italian ones will be poor quality and the English one will be high quality metal. He'll know once he's stripped off all the factory paint/primer. He said most modern Ferrari wheels are made in Taiwan and Germany makes the best wheels. Interesting stuff

Well, my daughter turns 16 today so I have to officially hand over the keys to the 2001 LE that I've been working on and wheeling since July.
As a parting gift, I bought her some sliders from Goliath Offroad. Now I just need to find a D1 or something else to wrench on and wheel.
(Pic angle makes them look different sizes but they are not.)
Did an oil change today on the 04, and thought l'd be changing the SAI exhaust tube on drivers side (leaking, so imagined it was cracked)...but...the one nut needed tightened...whoo hoo!
Have not driven it in a few months, putting insurance on it Monday...give it a little exercise.
Man, that thing looks clean. That bumper is perfect.

Went to the battery-getting-place to pick up an X2Power AGM for the girl. I frequent this store quite a bit, so I accepted their offer to install, since they've always been very good with my stuff.
Well, they managed to give the radiator-to-reservoir coolant line a good thwack and fracture it clean in two. Grrr. Partly my fault for not getting in there and supervising.
They were so careful about getting the sticky nuts off the battery tie down, too. Plenty of PB Blaster. And not too much torque in one direction.
They ran out to a parts store and picked up some hose and clamps. Patched it up good enough for the trip back home.
Just placed my third order from the mothership for OEM parts this weekend. Black Friday pricing in effect. Grouping them according to size/shape/weight so as to minimize the risk of DHL busting stuff up.
30% discount + really strong US Dollar + no tax = OEM parts cheaper than aftermarket
PCH000360 works out to $28.70 before shipping from JLR Classic.
