What direction to remove Viscous Fan
2001 Disco II.
I know from a boy the lefty loosey rule but since I am not sure what direction the fan turns I am not sure which direction to remove it: CCW or CW?
Also, I have seen where people suggest a 36 mm wrench to remove the nut but I am finding it to be 35 mm...
Thanks in advance!

Knock the top of wrench over to the passenger side. A few Quick swift hits should break the nut loose.
I have a pneumatic viscous fan tool, but found a large adjustable wrench from HF that works well.

UPdate: Used the rental pulley tool (Advanced Auto - Rental $69) to keep the pulley from moving but since I could not find a correct sized spanner I bought a 15" crescent wrench from Lowes ($29.99), set it to 35mm. Pulley tool was used by my son from under the DiscoII while I broke the nut loose from the top of the truck. Definitely was a two man job for me because of the thickness of the crescent wrench and the interference from the pulley tool when they were both accessing from the top.
