I recently Bought a Disco 2

VGT Turbo
Terrafirma Lift
EGR Removed
Mapped

Now my problem , Its very unstable at 120km , Checked everything. And it Struggles to tow my 1,2 Ton Caravan.

Now my Question's, Seems like its almost 3" Lift quite heigh to get in and out and running 265/75/16 Tyres.

Any recommendations..

 

By looks my guess is a 2” lift. 120 km/hr is at the upper end of comfort on these, especially with a lift.
Also, I don’t know what your Turbo does, but a 1.2 ton trailer will definitely make a normally aspirated Disco sluggish.

 

What would you recommend :-)

 

If you need a vehicle to be drive nicely at 120 km/hr, and tow a 1.2 ton trailer with ease, I was going to suggest a 3/4 ton diesel pick-up (bakkie), but I see you’re in South Africa so I’m not sure what to recommend. The D2 won’t easily meet your needs.

If you keep it under 120 and don’t tow heavy loads you’ll love the Disco.

 

If i Can tow 100 and 120 without towing ill be cool

 

That’s probably at the top end of what your D2 will do. I hope you enjoy it!
