And yes, in the other picters you took, if it was leaking out of the weep hole...you'd have seen stains. I'd just order a new water pump and gasket and take care of it before it becomes a bigger issue.

Brian.
Thank you. If I order from Atlantic British the pump, gasket, and bolt set what else should I change while I have it off? I was thinking my belt. Someone said fan clutch, is that necessary?

So you say flush and green.
Atlantic British says the special Land Rover only coolant
Some say Dexcool only (which I dont know where to buy)
@Disco Mike said Peak Global Lifetime

Green is common & now it last over 100k. AB recommends a lot of things that I personally avoid. They want you to keep buying stuff from them lol.

I've been running green for about 6 years and I dont have any issues.

dexcool did have a class action lawsuit.

Is there a couple fo different options for a new water pump? One has a better flow? Which one is the consensus best? Airtex?

Brass impeller is the best, but honestly if your coolant is in good condition the 33.00 water pump will do just fine. You won't see any performance pumps. You'd only see different results if you played with the pulley size. OEM water pump does a good job.

Cost aside, what would perform better, Green or Peak Global Lifetime?

There is generally speaking no real difference - BUT it has to be aluminum engine safe. That should not really be an issue any more but it never hurts to check.

What is the recommended torque for the bolts around the water pump?
