Default What shocks / springs to revert to factory ride/ height

Looking to find some shocks and springs to return to a factory-ish ride height and comfort (or more comfortable) level.

I searched here but not really a lot about it. Does anyone have a source for the actually factory shocks and springs? Also had a hard time finding that.

Most of the breakers will have them, Will TIllerey, Doc Heydary, Paul Grant, etc. I have a set of rears, no fronts though.

I would prefer to buy new if possible.

You basically want light duty springs. OME used to sell 3 levels of springs, and so did TF.

Just go to Rovers North or Atlantic British and look for the Genuine springs. You can get regular or HD. Sounds like you want regular.

Also check lrdirect.com. They ship pretty fast from the UK and are sometimes cheaper than US retailers.

I've been happy with Bilstein shocks paired with stock springs, but I'm sure you can get genuine shocks as well.

After having tried all of the non remote reservoir models of shocks, I would have to say the smoothest ride (if that is what you are looking for) can be had with TF shocks. Bilstein are quite firm, cost twice as much, and wear out in 40k miles in my experience. Your mileage may vary.

I have a set of stock front springs listed for sale (pink/orange, for petrol D2s) that have less than 5k miles on them - https://landroverforums.com/forum/market/110970. They're ProLine, but the OEM springs are over 4x more $$.

Otherwise, there's a link in the listing if you're looking for a new set from Rovers North.
