Default What is it worth?

Hello everyone,

I am kinda kick'n tires and wonder what everyone thinks. Want a 04-05 RR HSE but need to unload some vehicles first....

I have had my 96 Discofor 10 yrs now. Bought with 35K and done lots in the last couple years.

RED w/tan interior, 5-speed tranny, built 4/96 (gems+non evap) 123,000 miles adult driven.

Professional paint 2 yrs old (inlaws own paintshop that primarily repairs new cars for chevy dealer)

New parts last 6 months:

New Headliner
Cam Sensor
Crank Sensor
New front cover gasket
New shocks / steering stabilizer (Old Man Emu)
New wheel bearings both sides (front)
New Panhard rod bushings
Replaced Engine and Alarm computers
New fuel pump + fuel filter
New spark plugs
New Serpentine belt
New Battery
New u-joints rear, fronts 3yrs old but regularly serviced
Replaced Several bad plastic trim pieces + clips
Replaced all those hard to get to pesky in-dash bulbs
Many new hoses
Fluids: Manual tranny + transfer case, clutch, pwr steering, radiator, front/rear diff, Engine oil

Interior immaculate, only wear on left side cushion drivers seat, and drivers rubber mat
A/C serviced in 2006 ... Gets so cold it hurts!
Stock 6 disc cd changer
Stock brush guard and rear lamp guards
Tires 1/2 life
Everything works, Extremely Extremely CLEAN, no dents, two small dings, two small scatches+one on drivers door about 3", not down to the primer...

Needs: Mostly nit-pick items
Power steering reservoir hose (return)
Front windshield cracked
Front right headlamp is cracked but works
Rear window and back window seals have the usual cracks in the corners but do not leak
Some idiots broke power antenna
Rear view mirror has leaked the internal fluid for auto dimming (sounds common)
Few rust bubbles under paint on brush guard only.
Window tint needs to be replaced.
Cruise control inop (needs line replaced)

Only code was 1187, and possibly due toa plug wire issue i corrected.
Only light is the SRS (may be due to pwr steering fluid dripping on sensor)

Love my truck, blows me away how good it rides/runs especially for a 12 yr old! Truck in EXCELLENT condition.

Will post picks later when wife gets back. (she secretly loves the truck, only hates me!)

Don't know if it is worth selling.... how much should I ask?[sm=feedback.gif]

Why do you need to unload it? Its paid for.
If you need to save on insurance then just put storage insurance on it and take it off-roading in the spring/summer/fall. Storage insurance is only like $2 a year and you can put real insurance on it when you want to drive it for cheap, just tell your agent that you want to drive it this weekend and BAM!! you have insurance, Monday call them back and BAM!! you have storage insurance again.
Park it behind the barn with a full tank of gas and BAM!! you'll be good to go next time.
Personally I just dont see the need for a car payment, but hey, if you want a RR and you can afford it then get a RR.
What other cars do you have? Your Disco is almost a classic. And I am sure that your boss, uh, I mean wife, will love the RR as much if not more than the Disco.

Well, have a Suburban, Dodge Quad cab, BMW, boat on the way and don't have a barn (surprising enough for doodaaa Kansas!!!)

Just do not have anywhere to store another vehicle, other than the street...can't stand that. I would love to keep it, just would need a bigger house..

How big is the boat? The new RR is rated for 6,000lbs if I'm not mistaken.
How many kids do you have? It seats five.

I'm extremely interested to hear what his vehicle is worth, mine is about in the same boat, also at 135k miles.

I paid $1500 for mine though ... missing front left cap on bumper.. purrs like a kitten, interior immaculant... same wear on driver's side seat cushion, little bit on the passenger side ...

has BRAND NEW tires, including the full size spare on back ... he paid for it
