Default Wheel Selection Help

I'm having difficulty finding after-market 16" rims for my 2003 Discovery. Tire/Wheel and salvage businesses tell me that the only 16" wheels that will fit are 2002-2004 OEM Disco wheels. But, I have seen other 2003-2004 Discos with after-market 16" steel. What am I missing? What advice can you offer? Those of you with 16" rims, could you give me the model info of your rims? Are there drawbacks to the after-markets that I need to know?

Thank you in advance

The rims are 16 X 8J and the bolt pattern is 5 X 120 and the stud size is 14 X 1.5MM. Some BMW's run that pattern, but the stud size is smaller. You can run rims off P-38 and up Rangies and even the new LR3's.

Lots of sites sell steelies for D2's.

There are those cragar steel wheels that are close enough to fit, otherwise there are also the steel wheels that AB sells.

lipadj46,

Are you referring to the Cragar Soft 8? I did not think they would fit. What does "AB" stand for?
