What you really need to do is find someone with a diagnostic tool and have them read off all the abs codes. That will tell you specifically where the fault is and shed light on things. Otherwise your just making guesses and throwing random parts in hoping it will fix the amigos. If you plan on keeping your truck for awhile than you may want to consider investing in a handheld diagnostic tool so you can read check engine, srs and abs related codes, clear them and even monitor live data streams. Very useful and quickly pays for itself.

If you know for a fact that the fault is coming from say for example the front driver wheel and your getting a common "rough road" fault, AND you already replaced the abs sensor correctly... Then the next possibile culprit might be the yellow connector that you plug the top end of the abs sensor into. When that connector fails you will still get abs faults despite installing a new sensor. They can be bypassed and a genuine abs sensor wired directly to the computer inside the vehicle on passenger side under the dash.

I have the ABS Amigo, and the right side does have the connector, but the left side does not, and is wired and soldered in.

I am getting the amigos intermittently. Upon start up, only the (((ABS))) light is on and the eventually goes off. So there is not a hard fault. When there was, it was the left front, which is brand new.

Not sure what else I can do except get a tool that can monitor the sensors while driving and see if there is some strange behavior, and what is causing the fault.

Hmmm. I know that on my truck the 3 amigos pop up here and then but clear once I turn off the truck. Using Icarsoft I was able to learn that Im getting a shuttle valve failure. Im thinking its time for the shuttle valve switch replacement. $75 from AB I think and pretty simple job. You may want to consider the same thing on your truck. Our D2's are only getting older and the computers, sensors and wires naturally wear out over time and need to be replaced. If replacing the shuttle valve switch does not solve your problem (or mine for that matter) than it may be the abs block. Thats worst case scenario though.

Good luck.
