Default Wheel swap (my 16s for your 18s)

Just picked up my 96 Disco 1. Its got the stock 16 inch 5 star wheels. I know a lot of people are looking to go down to 16s so that they can wheel and have more options for larger tires. I'm not. I've got a CJ to wheel, so my Disco won't see any offroad action.

So if anyone wants to do an even swap and grab my 16s, which are in great shape with great tires, I'd be glad to have your 18s. I don't care about the condition of the tires on them, as I'll be getting new ones.

I'm in CT, but I'd be glad to meet anyone half way.

Thanks,
Shamus

There are no factory wheels made for the D1, Classic or Defender, 16's only.

What is your bolt pattern? I have 18's off my 1999 disco II with a 5x120mm.

What does "there were no factory wheels made" mean? They had to roll on something.

What he means is that all DI's had 16" rims, 18"s were not avalable until the DII.
DII rims will not fit a DI, different bolt pattern. Still a 5 hole pattern but different center to center spacing.
