Where to get new lockset?

Default Where to get new lockset?

Girlfriends purse was stolen from D2 yesterday which contained the spare key.
I removed the lock cylinder from the door and filled it with putty epoxy to be drilled out later so it can't be picked either.

So we are just using the one key fob for now.


I cannot seem to find a source for new keys and lock cylinders for the door and ignition. All I found was a whole new ignition for $600.

Am I looking in the wrong place or using the wrong search terms??

If you put the truck in the garage then they can't get in to steal it.

Maybe time to move from where you live.
This is a bad omen.

My local stealer quoted $950 for parts only, plus $150-$200 to program 2 fobs. $600 sounds like a deal.

I have a matching set of ignition switch and front door lock. However, I don't have the remote with that set, not that it should matter as you'll need to get it reprogrammed anyway. I do have several working remotes. You can always buy a key blade from the dealer and install it in the remote so it matches the new ignition and door lock.

I'll say this, it's a hell of a lot cheaper than any of the prices I've seen on this thread. Contact me if you're interested.

I have an ignition, driver door handle, and BOTH original keys... $300, shipped.

All in fantastic condition, one key shows minimal wear (all from an '04 w/ only 82k miles) and the other looks like it's never been used.

Let me know.
