Default Where would you buy a water pump?

I am thinking I may be buying a new water pump next week and was quoted $314 for the part. I know that is too much and I always buy my own parts, but it has me a little nervous seeing them so cheap comparativly (is that a word?). Other than oem and aftermarket is there a difference in pumps (e.g. brands)? and if so which one would you get? My first thought as far as where to buy is atlantic british as I have bought from them before but any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've used Rover Connection before. Great service and fast shipping.

$121 with free shipping at autohausaz.com. I've had good luck with bmw parts there but have not bought any other vehicle parts.

DO NOT buy a Proline water pump, they are junk.
I bought mine off of e-bay for $70? and another $10 for shipping. I have not installed it yet though.

i got the Pareks one from roverconnection for $89. no problems with it yet, knock on wood.

however i did end up getting the rubber gasket from the dealer, instead of using the paper one that came with the pump.
