I just got my Rover back from head gasket replacement (plus a trip the machine shop for the heads, a new Water Pump, plugs, wires, thermostat and a very thorough cleaning.

While it was being worked on, my mechanic thought of something that I wouldn't have, and wanted to share it.

Before you put everything back together, drop the oil pan and clean it out. I would have missed that and sucked all of that junk right back up.
