whinning transfer case

Grease all of them until new grease comes out of all four cups and out of the gator that covers the slip joint.
If you run both passenger side wheels up onto ramps it will be alot easier for you to reach everything.
Grease all of these at EVERY oil change and within a day or so after driving through water that is deep enough to submerge the entire underside of the truck.

Great info as I just bought my moms DII and I too can hear a whinning noise. I'm going to grease all the joints listed and see if this makes a difference. Car has been non-op since 2009 and I believe she bought it in 2004. Knowing her, this part part was never in her maintenance schedule.
