White stuff caked on inside of coolant hoses

If in fact a stop-leak product was used, does that mean whoever worked on it before found a leak somewhere in my system?
yes it would and they used alumaseal, irontite, Barrs or any of the other 100 head-gasket sealers out there

I reckon whoever before had leaks etc and stuffed in a sealant product and gunged up the leaks. Fernox is good, one of the best. Central heating cleaner is more powerful than most, if not all, coolant flush products and is used in a parallel environment, same plastics, metals and seals etc. It gets the cr@p out of any coolant system fast BUT, if you have had leaks before it will find them and uncover them which in truth isn't a bad thing ............. forewarned is forearmed as they say. Cheaper to find them now than an overheat and cracked head or block later.
