Default Who can help me program VIN into replacement ECU?

I have a replacement ECU from Goldwing Rovers in NY. Does anyone on here have the ability to update it with my VIN? Happy to compensate for time.

Thanks in advance.

I've got a nanocom and also located in San Mateo. I think it can program a new ECU. Not 100% sure as I haven't played around with it much. PM for my number.

Thanks - and good to know. From what I understand, this cannot be done with a Nanocom. We should meet up for coffee and swap war stories about the money pits.

Agreed. You should check out Northern California Land Rover Club. ( https://forum.norcalrovers.org/ ) Many of us live in or around the Bay Area. It's more of a wheeling/trip-focused club, great if you're into off-roading or love camping. The club is always looking for more members! Anyone is welcome to join.

I'm leading a wheeling trip up to Shuteye Peak the first weekend of May with NCLR if you're interested.

Thanks, but won't the truck get dirty if I take it off road? (insert LOL emoji here).

I'll definitely check it out.

Last time I ran Shuteye (mid June) it was only a bit dusty. So far we have 3-4 D2s, potentially a LR3, and a Porsche Cayenne coming. I totally get having a clean rig, but pushing the vehicles to the limit is rather fun

Ignore the drooling winch line. My friend pretended he was pulling my car with it in freespool.

Looks like fun. Are you on El Cerrito?

Back on topic. If you find a local shop that has a testbook computer (original dealer computer) they can do it.

Thanks!

Sending it to TWS along with the loaner performance ECU I've been running for the past few weeks.

No, I'm near CSM. I'm often driving on 92 or 280 in a LR3 or the D2 in the picture. Feel free to honk if you see me. There are a quite a few rover heads in our area. Maybe I should make another thread for a Peninsula D2 roll call...
