Default Window leak?

I have a 2002 D2 and I noticed a wet spot on the headliner near the Alpine window on the drivers side. I pulled the trim away from the rear sunroof and looked in and around. It looks brand new in there and the drains are intact with no signs of water. I'm thinking that perhaps the alpine window had developed a leak?!

The leak is not above the headliner (fiberglass framing) but appears to be coming from the side (near alpine window). Its just the headliner itself that is wet...

Any ideas?

The OEM sunroof pan design is crap, is not sealed. Leaks at the motor mount, sunshade mounts, sunshade latches, and at the corner fittings where they are glued to the pans. Headliner has drain channels molded in to channel water down to the sides. Pull the headliner out and drive it two weeks in the rain with the headliner out and you will find all the leaks.
