Well that went well.

Cancelled the OEM cowl and ordered the one from the "superauto-parts1" on ebay.com.
They shipped it, it got delivered somewhere in the US, order cancelled and refund is on it's way.
Refunded with a note that it cannot be shipped internationally (as I'm not in the US).
Ordered and paid what they were asking for it with shipping to my correct address and so on...

EDIT:
Lost ~10 euros in the currency conversions.
Left a negative feedback and now it's been deleted.
.. hope the ebay support has something to say..

 

From everyone here, I opted to try out the Chinese cowl from X-autoparts1 off ebay. I'll update once installed but so far, shipping was easy, box arrived UPS with no damage, and other than the windshield rubber pulling off (expected) everything looks good. Came with installed new cabin air filter.
