Windshield heaters coming on ?
Hi.
Never noticed before; but both windshields heating feature came on by themselves below freezing today. Is it normal for the thing to self-respond to ambient temperature ? The switches lit on but able to select them manually. Is that normal ? 9 days in a row below freezing now, big pile of ice removed to go running chores.

Thanks. That may be it. I think I had the heater ventilation selection set for windshield but low setting, but in auto goes to 'high' by itself ...
Edited : Confirmed. With climate control in 'heat' (economy) temperature selected as 'high' and vent port to 'windshield' , both electric windshield heaters come on.
