Default Wiper Blade Failure (figures)

Well of course the one time there is rain in San Diego my wipers fail...

I hear clicking (maybe a bad relay?) under the wheel and they are about 1 inch up from normal sitting position. They try to move but don't get very far. They also keep trying to run even when I switch them off. Maybe water is causing a bad connection??

Edit : I think my wiper arm nut thing is loose... I had the windshield replaced on monday and the safelite guy didn't know how to put the trim on so I did it and only hand tighten the nut... I found a post by spike some time ago just now... hopefully that's (I'll let you guys know in the morning)

Turns out it was just a loose nut. Phew. Didn't want to replace that motor.
