Default Wipers stop in odd places

As the title suggests, my wipers never come back to the 'home' position at the bottom of the windshield and instead stop in random places.

The intermittent function therefore doesn't work since thew wipers land in different places.

Any suggestions?

I have the same problem with mine also(04 SE). Someone will chime in soon to set us both straight.

Could it be a linkage issue? On mine I had a couple of bolts on the linkage come loose and the wipers would "stick" when you turned them off but would still work most of the time.

in my experience the culprit is likely a bad wiper motor...there is a "park" switch built into the motor circuitry and that has failed, find a used wiper motor to install, not a hard job at all..

Is there only one wiper motor? I know about the park switch from other vehicles. Both my wipers have this affliction.
