Default Wiring rear lights on roof rack

I finally got the front rack lights wired and it was pretty obvious that it could be routed up the windshield pillar...so that wasn't an issue. Now, I have two for the back above the rear gate and I know I want to drop a lead off the rear cargo light to a switch inside the rear gate area, but I don't know where to run the wires from the switch to the outside of the disco. Has anyone done this? I don't really want to make any holes that aren't already there. Thanks.

You could use a weather resistant switch outside near the light and run the wires forward and down the a pillar.

There is also a blank plug in the middle of the roof in the back for a GPS antenna, unless you have GPS. But that leads directly under the headliner.

I ran mine up the pillar in the front and then zip tied them all the way to the rear. Switch is on the left side of the steering wheel - I got a cruise control switch and used that with a relay.

Works great but you do have to work the switch up front.
